We have recently unveiled a new logo for our lab! It features the mountains of our local Colorado, the Blue-Footed Booby of Ecuador(where many of the species we study live), and several symbols of tomatoes and science. Great work Amanda!
In May, 2016 our own You Soon Baek defended her dissertation and received her PhD in Botany. Congratulations Doctor!

More Good News for the Bedinger Lab!! Pat was named Professor Laureate in the College of Natural Sciences! “This recognition is for her outstanding work as a teacher and mentor, and for leading a large research group investigating the molecular genetic basis of speciation on and diversity in wild tomatoes in South America.
This March we held the first (of what I think will be many) Bedinger Lab Writing Retreats in Estes Park. It was a great success. We hope to have new and exciting papers for you to read soon!
2013 has started with a BANG! Pat had been granted a Fulbright Fellowship to travel to Ecuador to conduct research on reproductive isolating barriers within and among wild tomato species! Congratulations Pat!! I looks like a few of us will be packing our bags and heading to Ecuador next spring. Read about it here
